The two oldest bells out of six in Findon Church Tower were in need of repair, requiring new headstocks. The bells were cast in 1530 and 1536, and needed to be removed, sent away and returned. This was the first time the bells had seen the light of day for nearly 500 years, and needed some persuasion to come down. Click on image to enlarge and scroll through the gallery.
